QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, THE CULT Members To Guest On New UNKLE Album
February 3, 2006QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE's Josh Homme, MASTERS OF REALITY mainman Chris Goss and THE CULT lead singer Ian Astbury are among the guest musicians appearing on the third studio album from James Lavelle's UNKLE project, which is presently being mixed in London and expected for a summer release.
Astbury has recorded vocals for three songs. "I have a great admiration for James Lavelle as an artist," he told Billboard.com. Astbury also raved about the contribution from Los Angeles rock act AUTOLUX: "Their track is amazing," he said.
The new effort is the follow-up to 2003's "Never, Never, Land", which reached No. 6 on Billboard's Top Electronic Albums chart.
